Obiettivi formativi
Al termine dell’insegnamento lo studente/la studentessa deve:
− conoscere e saper usare le strutture grammaticali principali della lingua inglese;
− aver acquisito una terminologia tecnica e medico-scientifica di base;
− comprendere semplici testi in ambito medico-scientifico;
− comprendere semplici testi di ascolto.
By the end of the year, the student should:
• recognize and know how to use the main grammatical structures of the English
language,
• have acquired a basic knowledge of medical-scientific terms,
• understand simple medical-scientific texts,

Al termine dell’insegnamento lo studente/studentessa sarà in grado di dimostrare
l’acquisizione di un linguaggio specialistico nell’ambito dell’assistenza
infermieristica (leggere e comprendere semplici testi scientifici e comprendere i
concetti principali di una conferenza in campo scientifico).CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE
Al termine dell’insegnamento lo studente/studentessa sarà in grado di dimostrare
la capacità di usare competenze linguistiche di natura lessicale e morfosintattica
volte alla comprensione e interpretazione di testi e interagire in inglese in
modo semplice con un utente.AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO
Al termine dell’insegnamento lo studente/studentessa sarà in grado di
dimostrare autonomia di giudizio attraverso le seguenti abilità: selezionare e
utilizzare fonti scientifiche affidabili in lingua inglese e criticare

By the end of the course, the student will be able to demonstrate the acquisition of a
specialized language related to the nursing profession (they will be able to read and
understand simple scientific texts and the main concepts of a conference in the scientific

By the end of the course, the student will be able to use lexical and morphosyntactic
language skills aimed at understanding and interpreting texts and interacting in English

following skills: select and use reliable scientific sources in English, and constructively
criticize research sources.COMMUNICATION SKILLS
By the end of the course, the student will be able:

Modalità di insegnamento
L’insegnamento prevede 30 ore di lezioni frontali (frequenza obbligatoria). Gli studenti/studentesse
saranno divisi in tre gruppi in base al livello.
Gli studenti interessati possono seguire esercitazioni extra, tenute dai Collaboratori alla
didattica, per approfondire e/o rivedere argomenti specifici.
The course consists of 30 hours of lectures (compulsory attendance). The students will
be divided into two groups, according to their level.
Supplementary lessons, conducted by the teaching assistants, will be available for
students who wish to reinforce and improve their fluency, knowledge and grammar

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
La valutazione dell’apprendimento avviene sulla base di un test scritto così suddiviso:
− grammatica (present simple/present continuous, prepositions of place and movement,
past simple/past continuous, instructions, making comparisons, question forms, will,
should/shouldn’t, zero and first conditional, expressing possibility), 20 punti;
− vocaboli (cloze, matching), 20 punti;
− comprensione del testo (vero/falso, scelta multipla), 20 punti.
Unità di misura utilizzata: sessantesimi. Il punteggio minimo per raggiungere l’idoneità
è 42/60.
Students are evaluated through a written test, which covers the following points:
- grammar (present simple/present continuous, prepositions of place and
movement, past simple/past continuous, instructions, making comparisons,
question forms, will, should/shouldn’t, zero and first conditional, expressing
possibility): 20 marks;
- vocabulary (cloze, matching): 20 marks;
- text comprehension (true/false, multiple choice): 20 marks.
The test is marked out of sixty. The pass mark is 42/60.- Oggetto:

in supporto alla conversazione. Queste attività sono svolte dai Collaboratori.
These activities are conducted by the teaching assistants and include grammar revision,
